Our Mission
Shape and monetize Commercial and Industrial customer peak energy usage across Utility and Wholesale Market Programs in the United States through automated control of distributed energy resources (including building energy management systems, battery energy storage, EV charging).
Position Description
Reports To: CFO
Compensation: base + bonus
Overall Responsibility:
Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting functions.
Own the financial close and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage cash (including forecasting) and payables.
Prepare internal and external financial statements and information.
Coordinate annual financial audits.
Coordinate and serve as primary contact for preparation of income tax returns.
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax and business filing requirements.
Participate in the annual budgeting process and related quarterly updates.
Perform technical accounting research and implement appropriate accounting for new, unusual or complex transactions.
Supervise and oversee development of all employees in the Accounting and Finance department.
Enforce policies and procedures and create new practices where needed.
Maintain Company internal controls.
Partner with other departments to drive process automation and systematic
improvements.
Education:
B.S. in Accounting.
CPA.
Experience Must Have:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Controller
Deep Experience with NetSuite
High proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office Products
Salesforce experience a plus
